British Higher School of Art & Design took part in the Graduate Fashion Week in London for the first time

BHSAD Graduate Makes Top 10 in Tragaluz International Illustration Award
Olga Salamatova, BA (Hons) Illustration 2017 graduate, made it into the list of finalists of an international illustration competition organized by the Colombian publishing house Tragaluz. She was among the top ten illustrators selected by the judges out of 900 candidates from 30 countries.
Organized by Tragaluz Editores (a book publisher located in Medellin, Colombia), the fourth edition of the Tragaluz International Illustration Award asked illustrators to choose a fragment of a book they had always dreamt to illustrate.
The text could be of any genre, and could be written by a deceased or living author from any nationality. The selected fragment had to be no more than one page of the chosen book, in Spanish or English. Participants had to guarantee that submitted illustrations hadn’t been published earlier or sent to other competitions.
The participation in Tragaluz International Illustration Award is free and open for illustrators from all countries. See the complete list of finalists here.
