Max Terpan, Jewellery Design student

Many years ago I just gave it a try and made plastic figures for my friends as a present, them uploaded it on the internet and people liked it. Then I made another present — a bracelet or something — again, uploaded it on the internet and people liked it! I started receiving orders, uploaded more works on the web, and there you have it — actually, this work really got me. Now, after many years of working as a graphic and jewellery designer, I wanted to go further and get an upgrade in terms of professionalism.

Before BHSAD I was a self-taught jeweller. I am from Moscow originally; however, I moved to Yekaterinburg for a while
and learnt from local masters of jewellery and stonecutting schools. Then I got back and enrolled at BHSAD.

I keep being amazed by the opportunities this school gives to the students and excited about feeling at home here.

I am now working on a collection that's called «Geometrika»; two items from this collections will be showcased between 15 March and 28 July at the State Historical Museum in the Red Square. Those items are 2 masculine accessories — a bowtie and a tie.
