Principal / Senior Lecturer
Partnered with the University of Hertfordshire who validate our degree awards, the British Higher School of Art & Design is a vibrant and dynamic Art School in the centre of Moscow which has been at the forefront of Art & Design education in Russia since its inception in 2003.
Complimenting the success of our creative arts undergraduate provision, we are in the process of introducing a portfolio of marketing awards which commenced in September 2018 with the successful launch of BA (Hons) Marketing and Advertising, alongside a UK Level 2 Introduction to Marketing programme and a UK Level 3 Foundation in Business and Marketing programme (both supporting future progression to level 4). These were followed by a BA (Hons) Marketing with Digital Communications in September 2019 and we will be launching BA (Hons) Marketing in September 2020.
We are seeking to expand our programme team with an inspirational and visionary leader to develop the existing qualities and successes of the awards and widen their local and international profile.
Moscow provides an environment saturated with opportunities for creative and marketing professionals, which coupled with the school’s national reputation and industry contacts allows the programme to incorporate these opportunities into an exceptional student experience.
The school has a contemporary, international atmosphere with all learning and teaching in English. Knowledge of Russian language is not necessary for the post although lessons are provided to staff wishing to learn.
The post holder will be joining our team at the start of the third year of our Marketing roll out which will see our first year of Level 6 provision within the portfolio of awards.
The successful candidate will join a team of experienced creative industries lecturers and subject specialists consisting of international and local full time and part time staff who together help to create a culturally rich and vibrant, creative environment.
This is a unique and important appointment which presents the postholder with the opportunity to play a significant role in the overall development of a new area of provision within the school. We are therefore looking for applicants with experience of making a significant contribution to the development, leadership and management of Marketing programmes within a UK educational framework.
You will be ambitious and highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and be a committed team player with the ability to inspire, lead, manage and develop your students and your team.
