blip blip blip is an independent curatorial programme which is committed to examining and fostering relationships between art practice and art education. It was originally based in Leeds, UK. blip blip blip is now being re-established in Moscow.

This lecture examines how the programme at blip blip blip has encouraged students to be proactive in their engagement with the art world and to seek out and establish exhibition and curatorial opportunities whilst progressing through their fine art courses. It explores how fine art students, initially at Leeds College of Art, and now at Moscow School of Contemporary Art and at BHSAD in Moscow, are able to supplement their official course curriculum through becoming active in the exhibition programme.

An earlier version of this lecture was delivered at Paradox – Fine Art European Forum in Poznan, Poland 2015.
