What is BIM? Why do architects need it? And why it is important to be up to speed with it right now? These and other questions about BIM in general and BIM designing in particular will be answered by an architect, head of information modelling department at APEX design firm and one of curators of “Creative BIM” PRO intensive course Andrei Dermeyko.
On March 12th, MARCH will launch “Creative BIM” PRO intensive course. The curriculum of the course was developed together with APEX design firm and is aimed at teaching BIM technologies in theory and in practice. During three months the attendants of the course guided by practicing specialists will work their way up from the origination of an idea to the execution of a project using BIM technologies. After successful completion of the course, they will get a continuing education diploma.
Ahead of the start, one of curators and lead tutors of PRO intensive course Andrei Dermeyko will give a lecture entitled “BIM: Why does an Architect Need It?”
Andrei used to work at UNK project as an architect before joining APEX as a BIM manager. Currently, he is head of informational modelling at APEX design bureau. In the course of 5 years, he has trained over 200 people in various aspects of application of BIM technologies. During the lecture he will explain the ideology of BIM and name the cases where BIM technologies are indispensable, and will share cases from his own practice.
