The MARCH School of Architecture has started accepting applications for the 2017/2018 academic year and held this year’s first Open Doors Day for bachelor and master programmes.
MARCH rector Eugene Asse and director Nikita Tokarev welcomed guests, outlined the main aspects of studies at MARCH, its education process and how it impacts future graduates’ job placement and introduced current and future tutors, as well as module and studio supervisors for bachelor and master programmes.
MARCH annually invites new tutors and curators, who bring their own programmes. Next year bachelor students will study under the architect and Rozhdestvenka bureau head Narine Tyutcheva, the architect and WALL bureau co-founder Ruben Arakelyan, the artist and Alexander Brodsky bureau architect Kirill Asse, as well as Yulia Andreichenko, Anna Kiparis and Anton Gorlenko.
Nikolay Lyzlov (Nikolay Lyzlov Architecture Studio), Nikolay Beloussov (Nikolay Beloussov Architectural Studio), Alexey Kozyr (Alexey Kozyr Architectural Studio), Grigory Guryanov and Denis Chistov (Bureau Praktika), Vladimir Plotkin (TPO Reserve chief architect) and Eugene Asse (Asse Architects bureau) will be studio supervisors for the master programme.
Maria Pokrovskaya will head the Portfolio School, Portfolio School Online and part-time evening preparatory courses.
After the education programmes had been presented, guests communicated with MARCH tutors and managers, were given personal consulting and attended the “I at MARCH” exhibition put up by first-year bachelor students. In their works made during MARCH studies, their format and exposition style all students sought to convey their individuality in the common exhibition project.
The next Open Doors Day is scheduled for May. Please follow our updates.
