Students of Pre-Foundation Art & Design programme together with the programme leader Mikhail Levin visited CSKA-Buduchnost basketball game and tried to capture the game’s energy and movement, paying special attention to the teams’ coulours.
Every sports club has its history and identity — colours, logo and other elements, all of which play an important role in creating atmosphere of the game.
Students’ task during the match was to documents every detail, paying attention to CSKA colours and club representation, and make sketches of the stadium, coach, team members, cheerleaders, fans and their emotions — everything that creates the game’s atmosphere. In their final work students could use any techniques and materials to convey the emotions, movements and the overall atmosphere of the game.
Pre-Foundation Art & Design programme is the first step for student interested in Foundation Art & Design and british degree programmes. It helps them adapt to the intense schedule and prepares for further education in a creative field of their choice.
