BA (Hons) Fine Art graduates Ye Chan Cheong, Maria Smirnova and Daria Mikhaylova will take part at the «Colour» exhibition at CICA Museum in Korea.
The works are made in different mediums — painting, installation and digital art, which represents the diversity of both the fine art techniques and the BHSAD approach.
The work «Meditation on color» by Ye Chan Cheong was done with oil paints on magazine pages, showing that colour can be not only something commercial but also symbolic and meditative.
Daria Mikhaylova's video project «City Colours» is inspired by colours we see around us every day and creates situations in which those colours change around the audience without them even noticing. And Maria Smirnova’s work «Dependent Spaces» investigates the way we experience space. Everyone sees the world around them differently and it depends on their experience. In this case the audience becomes an active participant and changes the space around them by interacting with it.
The exhibition «Colour» will be held at CICA Museum from 9 till 25 August.
