BHSAD is followed by Norwich University of the Arts (UK) and ArtCenter College of Design (USA). The School's academic partner — University of Hertfordshire — is also in the top 10 design schools.
Students of the British Higher School of Art and Design also received several awards: Evgeniya Abramova received the main Black Mark Award and the Gold Mark for packaging design of the BOO! cosmetics and cleaning products that are safe for children. Evgeniya was also named Student of the Year by the World Brand Design Society Design.
Another BHSAD student Katya Zakharova took the Silver Mark for brand design of the flamenco festival ¡VIVA ESPAÑA !, and Robert Dashaev, the author of the packaging design for the Bashkirsky Med brand, received a bronze.
The World Brand Design Society Awards is an international design competition for agencies, collectives, creatives, freelancers and in-house design teams from both brand and manufacturing organisations.
