The SUPERNOVÆ exhibition of the works of British BA programme students opened on July 3rd. On this memorable day the exhibition was attended by the press, the industry representatives, and the students as well as their families, friends and colleagues. The authors gave personal tours around the unique exhibition space, talking about their exhibits. As it was noted, the opening of the exhibition featured industry representatives, including delegates from DuPont and MTS companies. They personally congratulated the winners of a contest who designed stands for phone stores made from innovative Corian material. Martini, one of BHSAD’s favorite partners, ensured relaxed and informal atmosphere, greeting the guests with sparkling Prosecco.
The exhibition featured illustrations, photographs, art-exhibits and video installations, sculptures and design prototypes created by the students during their studies. Each showpiece has a story, a well-devised concept that the authors tried to convey to the visitors, expressing their views on ergonomics, ecology, social responsibility, functional design, artistic and aesthetic aspects.
