The 20th International Biennial of Art will take place in the Portugal city of Cerveira from August 10 to September 23. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the organizers invited more than 400 artists, and also art-focused educational institutions, 21 schools in total, including the British Higher School of Art and Design.
This year’s event is dedicated to Traditional Visual Arts and Digital Arts – "The Speech (Dis)Order".
The BHSAD will be represented by the works of fifteen students and graduates of BA (Hons) Fine Art and BA (Hons) Photography BA programmes and a series of watercolor paintings "Such a small love" by John Lavelle, BA (Hons) Fine Art tutor, inspired by the marble patterns of the Moscow metro.
