About the course
During the course students will explore alternative conceptual frameworks to make work & generate Ideas: participants will borrow, steal, mix, filter, and edit existing works and texts and images made by others to make new work. The idea of the course is to find ways to use these methods from Contemporary Art, Music, and Internet Culture in Graphic Design, in each session we will explore a different method.
The course will consist of a mix of lectures and discussions, practical workshops, project work and group critiques.
This course is for young graphic designers (including recent graduates) interested in exploring alternatives to conventional design methods.
The course is taught in English. Required level of English for participants is IELTS 6 or higher.
