About the course
This course is a first step for these applying to Foundation Art & Design and British degree programmes. It allows students to adapt to the intensive curriculum and the British system of creative education, provides high-quality specialized training and gives an understanding of the future area of interest.

The main goal of the course os to help students develop conceptual and creative thinking, as well as a wide range of art and design skills and prepare them for progression onto British degree programmes.

Language of delivery – English and Russian. Recommended level of English skills at the point of entry – intermediate (approximately 5.0 IELTS).

British education

Students enter a creative studio environment that adheres to a British model of tuition for Art and Design education, one that favours autonomous decision making. This educational system contributes to their creative liberation, leading to confident, motivated and capable students. The system allows them to develop their creative individuality and prepares them for progression onto Foundation Art & Design and further to British undergraduate programmes.

Creative thinking

The course focuses on developing students' creative thinking and analytical skills as well as encouraging them to find their personal approach to project development. It gives students an opportunity to think outside the box and use creative approach to problem-solving.  

Language practice

The courses are taught both in Russian and English, which allows a smooth transition to English-taught Degree programmes. All course materials are in English, which also helps to improve students' language skills.

Applicants need to provide the following documents:

- online application form
- school certificate or copy or the original of previous education certificates and academic qualifications.
- 2 photos 3×4
- copy of your passport

After the necessary documents are provided you need to sign the contracts. For applicants under 18 presence of one of the parents is required. More details about the application process can be found in the “How to apply” section of the website.
