Graduate of BA (Hons) Graphic Design & Illustration
Elena always was interested in design. When the British Higher School of Art and Design opened in 2003, she applied for a preparatory course and realised she was in the right place. After finishing school she applied for the BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme.
Over 6 years Elena worked in advertising, in international agencies like Geometry Global, BBDO. And now she is freelancing, working remotely with various agencies in Russia and Europe.
“Of course I’m proud of my project Get Well Kit, which in 2014 received Cannes award and over 40 other international festivals awards. I’m also proud I was offered to teach a course at Wordshop. Advertising is a difficult field, it requires stress resistance and multitasking. When I was studying, I was a bit of an idealist. It seemed to me I could change the industry, but the industry didn’t agree with me. But BHSAD helped me to develop the European approach to project work, creative thinking skills and the ability to develop ideas”.
