The British Higher School of Art and Design and Yota Devices held a competition to create a dynamic wallpaper for the YotaPhone second phone screen. The winners are Yana Etkina and Daniel Prikhodko from the BA (Hons) Graphic Design Level 5 programme. For the competition, each student was given the task of developing a set of several dynamic wallpapers ie: animated images, for a phone screen. The images are in most cases, interactive, with the possibility of user interplay. In this case it was necessary to preserve the functionality of the phone screen, which also contains information about the weather, date and time, as well as geolocation.
